Our Love Story

We met at work one year before we started dating. We were both attracted to each other but were too shy to say anything. One day as Ryan was gathering the courage to ask for Lucila’s phone number, she took the first step and asked Ryan on an Ice Cream date in Portland. After only a few dates, we knew we had something special, and couldn’t see each other with anyone else.

“From this day forward, you shall not walk alone, your heart shall be my shelter, and my arms will be your home…”

How He Popped the Question!

Hiking is one of our favorite activities to do together. Rarely had both our immediate families gone with us. We had planned to go to a hike on a weekend and Ryan suggested we invite our families and all stay the night (I should’ve guessed something was up…but a propsal never crossed my mind!). The next morning we set off to a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. I was sitting and turned to admire the ocean view, when I turned around and Ryan was down on one knee. It was perfect!
